Destination Wedding Mom And Dad Thank You

rubella BALLET - TV Scream

Rubella Ballet was founded in autumn 1979 by drummer Sid ation (Sid Truelove aka John G Carroll - drums Flux of Pink Indians). Another band member, who had a big influence on him was guitarist Pete Fender (Dan Sansom) - Microbes and member FATAL POISON GIRLS, who later started playing OMEGA TRIBE and Gem Stone (Gemma Sansom) - bass. At the beginning of Rubella Ballet singer was Annie Anxiety and "Womble" Dumpertruck Tommy Harris. They sang in the band briefly, and took place on vocals soon Zillah Minx. Fender and Stone were the son and daughter of singer POISON GIRLS - Vi Subversa. The team used the equipment and instruments, POISON GIRLS, and the first gig was with POISON GIRLS and CRASS.W Unlike other anarcho-punk bands dressed mainly in black, members of Rubella Ballet were recognized on stage for the wacky, colorful costumes. Peter Fender left the band soon accompanying the OMEGA TRIBE. In 1982 the band released their first cassette "Ballet bag" and 7 "EP" Ballet Dance "- after rejecting the possibility of giving the Crass Records label released two items belonging to XNTRIX Records POISON GIRLS. After releasing 12" 42f " Jungle Records in 1984, the team takes off with its own publishing house Ubiquitous. The band performs strongly with POISON GIRLS and CRASS, recorded two sessions in Peel and in 1984 launched the tour in Italy promoting her single "42F" - the route is a complete failure on the part of the organization - team received tickets in one direction and after a week playing gigs without any payment returned to England by train ... Before the next album, "Money Talks" in 1985, there were repeated changes in the composition - with Rubella Ballet left Sean and Gem, and replaced them Adam and Rachel Minx (younger sister Zillah), and soon replaced by Steve Adam Cachman. The new lineup recorded the band's second album "At Last, It's Playtime" in 1985. Membership has stabilized in the next few years, and Rubella Ballet spend the next album "If" in 1986. In 1988 comes a live double album "Birthday Box", and in 1990 "At the End of the Rainbow" LP. It soon turns out that the guitarist can not tour with the band. Sid assumes rave'ową group of xenophobia ... The team suspended operations.
In 2000 Rubella Ballet reactivates with Sid and Zillah, and joins them Fender. The band releases "Anarchy in the UV" - the first cassette single, album, 12 "and previously unreleased tracks. Another release Rubella Ballet is" Never mind the day-glo ".
