BRISTLES are the next contenders from Sweden, who formed in 1982 in the town of Landskrona in southern Sweden . They were a team of Swedish new wave of hardcore next ASTA HELMET, SÖTLIMPA, eXistenZ, moderate LIKVIDATION, NONCENS, EATER, Anti Cimex. A lot of touring, they released two demo tapes, appeared on several classic compilations and released several singles. 
BRISTLES were strongly influenced by the British scene - THE EXPLOITED, GBH, DISCHARGE, Subhumans. The team disbanded in 1985. In 1998 they played a concert in an old warehouse, and permanently returned to the scene only in 2008 and still touring.
