ASTA KASK powstali Szwecji w w w Toreboda 1978 roku, pod początkowo Nazwa X-TAS, but in 1981 changed its name to ASTA HELMET. The team almost from the outset worked with Rosa Honung Records label, which in the 80's released all the singles and album ASTA HELMET. Phenomenal, original and interesting band, which, unlike most bands played the Swedish melodic punk rock. 
After issuing the 1986 LP "Aldrig en" the band broke up. In 1989 the band started to operate, but only played a few gigs, released a split LP and fell back into a coma. 
In 1992, he played a concert at 10th anniversary of Rosa Honung Records label and became silent again until 2003. They began to perform again, but in 2004 left the band Djurre drummer, who was replaced with Wolfbrigade Dadd. 
In 2005, ASTA HELMET ended its association with Rosa Honung Records label, which for years was the reason for the escalating conflict. ASTA Helmet signed to Burning Heart Records and released their first album in 20 years. The team consisted of: Micke - vocals, guitar, Ernie - Bass, Bonni - vocals and guitar; Bjurre - drums since 2004 and Dadd on drums.
