Gash - God Is Dead

Gash came from Melbourne on the East coast of Victoria and have risen in 1985. The teams consisted of three girls and one guy: Anna - vocals, Liz - guitar, Vera - bass and Smeer - drums. In 1985, the group prepared a demo tape in publishing Hardcore House, which they ran Smeer - drummer Gash and Depression) and Liz (Gash guitarist and manager of Depression). After good reviews in the press cassette independent team approached Phil MacDougall of the proposed Reactor Records imprint. In 1986, he was released LP "Gash" - 16 pieces of raw metal podlanego hardcore sound.
In August the same year, Reactor Records releases the single "God Is Dead" 7 "EP, to help promote a large plate. The single sold more 500 copies and has never been resumes. In the late 80's LP "Gash" was also released in the UK by Rough Trade Records. In 1986, there is a split LP Gash / Depression in American publishing Flipside. After failing to cooperate with Flipside and Rough Trade bands DEPRESSION Gash and jump under the wings of Cleopatra Records label. In 1986, Gash seem single, and in 1987 another LP "Positive change" which increasingly are moving in the direction of the metal sound.
